Dinner

Hello, today I will talk about today's dinner. I ate Yakitori today. I love it and maybe I eat it once a week. Do you like it? I think everyone like it. Do you eat it often? I like chicken dishes but chicken dishes and Yakitori is not same kind. I know Yakitori is chicken dish but Yakitori is one of another dish I think. Do you understand? I like Kawa and Hatu and Horumon and others. I like these when I was little. I ate well from old days because my parents likes it very much. I often go to eat it with my dad. He knows good restaurant a lot. Near my house there is nice one. The name is Akachochin. The tastes are very good. I want to recommend to you. What kind of Yakitori do you like? And why? Or what is your favorite dinner?

In downtown there is Nakata, at there you can eat delicious Yakitori's. But there is small and always many people so if you want to go there you should make a reservation. By the way I will go to Fukuoka in next week but I want to go to eat Yakitori at Hakata city. Do you know popular restaurant of the Yakitori? If you know it pleas tell me.

Snow!!!

Today, snow was piled up and wind is cold. In my garden there was pure white by snow. It was very beautiful. But outside is too cold I cannot go out. My friend living in Nagasaki, where was piled up snow about 20cm she said. She sent me a photo from her house. That view was like Hokkaido. Children is very pleased that it snowed but adult cannot be pleased because almost bus and train is stop so they cannot go company. In Kumamoto the bus was stopped. I think many people was troubled but there is nothing for it. The accident that they slip especially elderly person and car skids happens so I want you to be careful. I think tit is important that does not cause an accident than hurry.
By the way, have you been to Hokkaido? I have never been to there. I want to go someday in winter because I want to see the beautiful snow view and want to eat crab. I love it. In Hokkaido crab is very famous, do you know it? If you know about there tell me and introduce to me tour recommend place or restaurant with crab in Hokkaido.

My aunt

2 days ago my aunt passed away. She was 94. I am sad and I don’t want to anything because I cannot think anything but she was in the hospital and I knew that her condition was not good but she was sometimes fine and smiled. I often went to the hospital to meet her then she was always pleased very much and she was waiting for my visit. I went to after my classes and I bought a Wagashi or Manju because she loves it. When she was fine we often go Wagashi store together near her house and eat these at her house. I like that time. But she liked a cake and sweet that I made. I like that time. And she was a good cook. For New Year holidays, she cooked Oseti in every year and especially I liked Kazunoko. Do you like it? I love it and the Kazunoko that she cooks is the best I think. I never eat it anymore it is very sad but I never forget that. I had good time with her a lot. She always kind to me and worry about my health. I want to say thank you to her very much.

Hello, today is Thursday 1/19. Today was colder than yesterday. I was wear clothes a lot and big coat. I like my coat it was buy in Korea. I have my favorite Korean fashion site. I like the fashion of Korean style. But in Japan, I can't buy these item. Korean fashion item is very cool and stylish I think. I often buy and wear color of black or white. My favorite fashion site is CHUU. CHUU is not Japanese fashion site it’s Korean fashion site. I often buy my clothes and shoes and other fashion item. I like this site because Korean clothe line is very beautiful and very fit for my body line. And in almost Japanese shops I can’t find like CHUU’s clothes. Everyday I check new item I like the time looking many clothes but there are disadvantage. First I can’t fitting. I think fitting is very important but net shopping is can’t try it so sometimes not good fit specially shoes. And second I can’t wear soon because it takes time to arrive. And there is the vicious site so we have to careful when we buy something on net shopping site. But in net shopping like CHUU we can get own favorite item. I use other Korean fashion site but CHUU is the best for me.

And recently I often see who wear like Korean clothe in KGU especially boys. Is it being popular? What do you think of Korean fashion style? And What is your fashion style?

Movie English

This time I will write about one movie. I wrote about this before but this is not same. In my another class I watched it and teacher asked us 5 question about that movie. And I answered. The movie is Freedom Writers.

Q. What do you think she meant when she said “It looks like this, one tribe drifting quietly to another's territory without respect, as if to claim what isn't theirs. An outsider looking in would never see it, but we could feel it. Something was coming.” Give examples and details from the movie.

One day the violence happened. It is like one tribe attack to other tribes and uses the gun, it may cause murder but it is not unusual. There are many tribes and they are always separate and they never cross. There are Asian, Latin, black, white and other. In the city always rivalry happens so they go to school including Eva because they there are originally safe place, but there is not safe. Every student feels like that and nobody protect of course as for the teacher. I think she said like that the inside and outside in school dangerous too and they can feel it but teachers cannot feel it so it is nothing to do with white.

Q. What is voluntary integration? And what did some of the Wilson High School teachers

think about voluntary integration? Do you agree or disagree with the attitudes of these

teachers? Why? Include details from the movie. 

I think voluntary integration is entering other territory by oneself. Some of teachers of the special advance class are do not interested in the student of the 203 special class because they think that the student of the 203 special class do not have identity so they never watch the problem that they face but only Ms. G was different. She was trying to give them the teaching materials and books. I agree with her action because I think her thought to be right as a teacher.

Q. Miep Gies, the women who hid Anne Frank in her attic, said that “we are all ordinary people. But even an ordinary secretary or a housewife or a teenager can, within their own small way, turn on a small light in a dark room.”

What do you think Miep Gies was trying to say to the students when she said this? How do you think you could put this statement into practice in your own life?

I think that Miep Gies said is very common practice. We are existing as one human being and we are all equality I think but the world is different. What I felt like that is because maybe I am in the safe place it mean like in my around does not have danger like them. Therefore we have to realize what is happened in around us.

Q. Erin Gruwell had the students make a “toast for change” in the movie.

 What was the purpose of doing a toast for change? Do you think it was effective in helping the students? Use details from the movie to support your answer.

I think the purpose of a toast for change is believe that you can do it. It is

mean like you must not give up everything.

The change was good effective to them. They did not do something for change

because they gave up everything, they did not have even hope but they

changed.

Q. The title of the movie is also the title of the book Erin Gruwell’s students published about their various experiences.

Why did the students decide to call their book “Freedom Writers?” Give specific examples from the movie.

The reason why the student decide to call their book ”Freedom Writers” is the story is their dairy and it is real experience. They wrote about own and family and friends and hope and emotion. They can write all of things free. They can decide own life by oneself freely they can say what they feel freely, everybody have chance in the same way.

Hello everyone. Today is 1/18 Monday. Today was very cold. Do you like winter? I don't like winter I like summer than winter because I cannot stand the cold like these days. But I like snow. Today was snowed. Did you see it? I saw it from the library it was the first snow of the year in Kumamoto. I think this is one of big news in 2016 because this year said to be a warm winter. Warm winter is not good for earth I think because it influence an environmental change. I think we should to take on a Eco at all over the world. In Japan, we are taking on various things. Do you have something do for Eco in usually? Or do you have good idea? I think it is important that talking about this together.

I watched 5 movies at my class. All stories were true story.

We covered five true stories about extraordinary people who have made a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others. What did you learn from these movies?

I thought there are a lot of different lives in the world and I was very surprised every time I watching movie because in the world there are many difficult situation present. I have never seen like that place and people. I watched these 5 different true stories I thought Japan is really peace and very safe country. But almost Japanese people never know such a things happening in the world. And I learn the importance of knowing the truth and we must not miss the eyes in reality and take reality and truth. I know sometimes it is difficult but if I wish and do something never give it up someday the happiness will come. I believe so that. I think every human have human right being happy.

I think Blood Diamond is 10 because I was shocked most and I thought a lot of things about war. Pursuit of Happiness is 9 because that story made me happy. His life is not always good but he never gave up and I can feel the importance of family. Erin Brockvich is 6 because I like Erin’s activity but the story is same kind with Pursuit of Happiness but it was good movie. Coach carter is 7. I learned the importance having dream and make an effort from the movie. Freedom Writers is 8. I think there are message in this movie. People who watched this movie they can feel anything important.

Did you enjoy this class? Why or why not?

I was very enjoyed this class. 2 movie Pursuit of Happiness and Coach Carter are have watched among 5 movies but I could watch these different feeling. 5 movies are true story but each movie has different problem. I think everyone have own life at each place sometimes it is sad and hard but everyone still must live. It was good experience that I could watch 5 movies. Thank you for half a year.
